The beginning of a project often looks like a lot of demolition, but envisioning how the final project will look when it’s done keeps us motivated to work hard! This little spot of paradise in Williamsburg already has beautiful landscaping throughout the backyard, so we wanted to add to what was already there by making the space even more welcoming.

First up will be a new patio with some interesting elements that will keep the area visually appealing, with a 4-foot wide walkway leading from the fence to the new project. We’re adding circular concrete stairs, which you can see in this part, and the base of a fire pit where friends can gather to enjoy the view is another piece of this phase.

To finish off, we’ll add a water feature, seating bench, and small porch, but we’ll show you that in the next video…
