Sometimes our projects involve a lot of installation, and sometimes we’re connecting the dots with what is already in the backyard. This fun job in Yorktown is the latter! We always love working with a good River Pools installation, and this one is no exception. The backyard pool features 57 gravel and creates the perfect setup for what we’re going to add.

With empty space between the pond and the pool, our plan is to add a pool deck with plenty of drainage to prevent groundwater issues as well as a large but simple patio. The pavers will come right to the edge of the pond so these homeowners can enjoy the fish living in this mini outdoor sanctuary.

After everything is installed, we will add grading to the yard, get it cleaned up, and put the finishing touches on this private pool and resort that just happens to be in a backyard right here in York County.
